I hate writing about myself, so I’ll write this “about me” in the third person because that’s not weird.

April served as a music journalist, photographer, copywriter, graphic designer, staff writer, and communications specialist and has loved it all! She began writing for music magazines in 2008 and freelance copywriting and designing in 2010. To display that long list of articles and every design piece would be too overwhelming. This online portfolio highlights some writing samples, content marketing/social media pieces, and products and services she has provided to clients.

Her music writing and concert photography appeared in Filter Magazine, Loose Record, Harp Magazine, UK magazine Artrocker, Paste Magazine, and Blurt Magazine!

For fellow photography geeks, her images are self-developed B&W film and digital. Her primary film cameras are TWO oldies but goodies, the Minolta XG-1 and Olympus OM-2n. The digital is a Pentax K7.

Content creation is her passion; she continues writing, taking photos, and designing neat collateral.
