A storyteller with 15+ years of writing and editorial experience, I’ve had the pleasure of working as a music journalist, photographer, copywriter, editor, and communications specialist. My journey began writing for music magazines Filter Magazine, Loose Record, Harp Magazine, Artrocker, Paste Magazine, and Blurt Magazine. In 2010, while still pursuing my passions for music writing and photography, I expanded my skills into freelance copywriting, copyediting, and collateral design.

Now I apply my communication strategies and writing skills within a diversified technology company. My philosophy for effective communication: the user experience must be at the core of every strategy.

When I’m not stirring up a new communication strategy and content, I love discovering great new bands, writing, and B&W film photography.

The images you see on the site are a mix of self-developed B&W film and digital. But, my main love remains B&W 35mm and my latest analog discovery is Rollei Retro 400s. My primary film cameras are two oldies but goodies, the Minolta XG-1 and Olympus OM-2n, and the digital is a Pentax K-7…also an oldie now.
